About

Tristan Herry - jongleur professionnel

Tristan Herry

Converted from the heat of the kitchen to fire shows in Montmartre, in 2015, I dedicated myself fully to the performing arts. I began with my street performance, Once Upon a Fire (Il Était un Feu), thanks to which I was scouted by several fire arts companies.

In 2017, I returned from training with Yung-Biau Lin where I realized I wanted to blend the art of juggling with dance. In the same year, I obtained my first official status as a salaried entertainer (intermittent de spectacle).

I produced my first full show Tempo’Logic in 2018 which consequently allowed me to tour throughout France. In parallel, I began formal training in dance through a variety of classes in just about every available dance studio in Paris.

From 2020 to 2021, I spent time during the Covid pandemic creating my solo LED-juggling show, Azur, for which I’ve finally had the opportunity to film the promotional video and “officially” launch in September of this year (2023).

In 2022, I had the pleasure of meeting Eric Blouet who helped me discover new sensations of play and who inspired me to explore new forms of self-expression fusing juggling and sensation.

By chance of an audition in 2023, I took to the stage of the Paris Opera and spent two months there. Between my experience with Blouet and my time with the Opera, I am now seeking out more ambitious pursuits. Stay tuned for what’s next!
